The Watkins Glen event was a challenging weekend for the WSM Lamborghini Super Trofeo team. Changing weather conditions, including times when half the track was experiencing rain while the other side was dry, didn’t make it easy on such a technical circuit.
The #33 car qualified 8th in class for race one, but was involved in a shunt in the second qualifying session that precluded Decker from making it to the grid for Round 3. The #22 qualified 7th in class for Round 3, and Prewett and Williams brought the car home in 11th.
The #33 qualified 5th in class for Round 4, while the #22 secured 8th in class. Decker in the #33 secured a 6th place finish while Prewett and Williams secured 10th place.
