World Speed Motorsports is pleased to announce the redesign of their website which is located at worldspeed.com. As an interactive resource for fans, partners and the media, the innovative website provides extensive news and information about the team. "We have gotten a lot of good initial response from the new interface," said Team Owner, Telo Stewart. "As we've developed, so has our website. We are proud of the work the team did in getting this executed ahead of the New Year's deadline. The new website has tons of resources for fans, journalists, and our team and series partners."

The new site features partner information, a site search, latest team and industry news, team history, driver's and team member's bios, alumni updates, information on getting started in racing, photo galleries, videos and more.

"This is our fifth major redesign since the WorldSpeed.com site went live in July of 1996," stated Operations Manager Mark Milazzo. "When we did the last major revision in late 2004, our business was quite a bit smaller and so the amount of information we were generating was fine for that design. Since then the company has grown in a variety of ways and the amount of information generated has grown exponentially. We needed a new design that could not only accommodate the current needs, but be ready to accept upgrades when we add features in the future. Eric McCombs did a great job getting the site together just using resources from within our company."

The new site has news items dating back to 1998, and photos that reach back to 1991 which was the first year that World Speed Motorsports took to the track.
