World Speed Prepared for Mid Ohio & Infineon Raceway Events this Weekend

Half of the World Speed Motorsports team is on their way to Mid Ohio Sports Car Course today. Ace Carrio, Frank McCormick, and Patrick O'Neill will all be running under the WSM banner this weekend at the Star Series event.

This will be the first Star Series event that WSM will compete in for 2005, and also the first time they are running Ace in a pro weekend. "It took a lot of work to get Ace's car up to our level of preparation, but we feel very confident in the car and Ace's ability and really are looking forward to being back in the series, said Telo Stewart.

During the Mid Ohio event the rest of the team will be competing in the Russell Pro Formula Mazda Series. Claudio Cornali,Tom Hughes, Stan Kohls, Richard Fullerton, and Mike Guasch will all be vying for the podium at Infineon Raceway with a mix of Standard and Pro Formula Mazdas.
