Emile got his racing career jump-started in the year long Jim Russell
Mechanic's Training Program at Mont Tremblant, Quebec, excelling as
both a mechanic and driver. He won three of six races, placed second
in two others, and claimed second in the Championship. This gave him
the opportunity to go on to represent his class at the Scholarship Competition
at Silverstone in England.
2007 will be Emile’s seventh full season with the World Speed team. He joined the team initially as a Formula F2000 mechanic, however, his duties were quickly redirected to World Speed's 2001 Star Mazda Championship winning effort. 2002 would see Emile as an integral team member in both the CART Toyota Atlantic and Formula Renault 1600 Championships. In a one time outing in 2003 on used tires Emile took pole position at the Sears Point FormulaTR race ahead of Marco Andretti.
