JD ABOUCHAR
JD was recently bitten by the racing bug after taking the Russell Racing school courses early in 2004. Following the path of many of the World Speed Drivers, he began his competition career in the Formula Russell Series, competing in several races in the second half of 2004.
To “keep on the steep part of the learning curve,” JD decided to buy a standard FM for the 2005 season, so could experience other tracks in the region and gain more seat time. He is looking forward to improving his racing abilities to the point where he can step up to the new Pro FM.
To fund his need for speed, JD’s “day job” is working as a Financial Analyst for Pacific Edge Investment Management, a private investment firm in Palo Alto, CA. JD focuses on researching semiconductor and electronics companies world wide.
JD lives in Marin County with his wife Nancy and 3 boys: Max 10, Ben 9, and Charlie, 4. Max is already working on getting his hands on the keys to the race car…
