Busy September for World Speed

Four race weekends plus extensive testing in only five weeks

The team is operating at full steam this month, starting with the #14 car breaking the track record at Mosport the very first weekend.

Just a week later on the 8th the team was testing a couple of Pro Mazdas at Infineon Raceway, while at the same time setting up the DynaPack chassis dyno to test the output of cars competing in the Russell Pro Series. 15 cars are scheduled to compete in the penultimate weekend of the season Sept 14-17.

If that wasn't enough to keep the team sharp, they have also planned to run a handful of cars at the Laguna Seca SCCA event Sept 29th-Oct 01. WSM will be competing at the same time with current Star Mazda Series points leader Ace Carrio at Road Atlanta in that series' penultimate round.

"We couldn't have even considered this type of schedule before we increased our manpower, stated Team Manager Mark Milazzo. Since I came back on full time we have increased our staff five fold, and have added some very sharp people to the team. The amount of experience, and breadth is pretty amazing and the team's ability to stay positive under pressure is inspiring."
